Nice Valley Energy GmbH & Co. KG acquires key assets of Bosswerk GmbH & Co. KG

Bosswerk GmbH & Co. KG, based in Nettetal, was a well-established provider of innovative solutions for decentralized energy systems, operating primarily through its online platform GreenAkku. The product range included balcony solar systems, PV modules, home battery storage, and off-grid energy solutions for residential applications.

In July 2024, due to ongoing market disruptions—particularly a sharp decline in solar component prices—the company filed for insolvency at the Krefeld District Court. Joachim C. Mohlitz of GÖRG Insolvenzverwaltung Partnerschaft von Rechtsanwälten mbB was appointed as insolvency administrator.

In close collaboration with the insolvency administrator, a structured investor process was launched and exclusively managed by CVM Capital Value Management GmbH. The objective was to secure a sustainable solution for the key assets of Bosswerk GmbH & Co. KG.

In December 2024, Nice Valley Energy GmbH & Co. KG acquired significant parts of the company’s assets—including, in particular, the extensive inventory, sales infrastructure, and rights associated with the GreenAkku brand. The buyer is a newly established entity involving former shareholders of Bosswerk, which will continue to operate the business under the well-known brand.

The transaction lays the foundation for the seamless continuation of GreenAkku’s online business operations and product availability. It also ensures continuity for customers, suppliers, and business partners.
