Tempton Personaldienstleistungen GmbH has taken over the operations of meteor Personaldienste AG & Co. KGaA as part of a structured investor process.

meteor Personaldienste AG & Co. KGaA, based in Cologne, North Rhine-Westphalia, is a nationwide personnel service provider focusing on commercial and technical temporary staffing, recruitment and on-site management. The company was founded in 1992 and has developed into a Germany-wide provider over more than three decades. In 2024, meteor generated sales revenues of approximately EUR 44.5 million. The company currently operates nine locations and employs an average of approximately 750 people.

With this acquisition, Tempton is further expanding its position as one of the leading personnel service providers in Germany.

Structured sales process following insolvency filing

On 10 November 2025, the Cologne Local Court ordered provisional insolvency administration of the company's assets. Lawyer Prof. Dr. Peter Neu was appointed as provisional insolvency administrator. He was supported by his colleague Thorsten Kapitza and his team.

The team at CVM Capital Value Management GmbH, led by managing partner Kai Peppmeier, was exclusively mandated to carry out a structured M&A process. Despite tight deadlines, the continuation solution was successful and around 425 jobs were secured.
