TMC has accompanied E.I.S. Aircraft Products and Services GmbH in the successful implementation of a suitable acquisition concept as part of a transferring restructuring in order to secure the long-term continuation of the company

On January 1st, the Bonn District Court, as the competent bankruptcy court, opened insolvency proceedings in self-administration for E.I.S. Aircraft Products and Services GmbH. Dirk Obermüller, lawyer, restructuring expert as well as partner of the law firm dhpg (Bonn), was appointed as trustee.

The business operations of E.I.S. Aircraft was transferred to the newly formed company E.I.S. Aircraft GmbH, whereby the insolvency proceedings in self-administration could be completed. The investor – a company group from Switzerland – is keeping two of the three previous company locations (Lemgo and Euskirchen), whereby 100 jobs could be secured.

The team of TMC Turnaround Management Consult GmbH led by partner Kai Peppmeier fully advised and supported works council, management as well as trustee of E.I.S. Aircraft in the successful implementation of the acquisition concept and is also very pleased about the receipt of numerous jobs.
