BOSS Elektromaschinen und Pumpentechnik GmbH, based in Dortmund, has specialized in winding and mechanical work on electrical machines for over 50 years. In the field of pump technology, the customer base includes both public and private clients.
The company's management had filed for insolvency with the local court in Dortmund on November 24, 2022. Attorney Marvin Bauerfeind of BBL was appointed provisional insolvency administrator and mandated Christian Lützenrath, Managing Partner of CVM Capital Value Management GmbH, with the search for investors.
In close cooperation with all parties involved in the proceedings, the company succeeded in securing its operations and all 52 jobs in the long term. At the beginning of March 2023, Steinlen Elektromaschinen GmbH from Burgwedel/Lower Saxony took over the business of BOSS Elektromaschinen und Pumpentechnik GmbH in Dortmund as part of a transferring reorganization (asset deal).
